In the freelancing work I do (marketing copywriting and project mgt), I do not work with any firms in my geographic location. I am in a relatively small town and I work with large corporations throughout the US. Limiting a prospective client's search by geographic location seems ill advised for both the prospective client and the freelancer and, in fact, makes this service more or less irrelevant to me.

As a writer and project manager, it's critical to be able to post URLs and PDFs as samples. GIFS, JPGs just don't cut it for written material. Also, I am loathe to put in a project budget. Without context, this is misleading info to potential clients. Budgets may or may not include all kinds of services and subcontracts. I would take this info category down so it doesn't reflect poorly on the freelancer if left blank. Services and projects may carry price tags, but every project's budget is unique. I'm not willing to share it without details and unwilling to post details that are negotiated confidentially.

The order that projects get added to the portfolio aren't always in the order that users might want to present them in. As users add more items to their portfolios, they might have new examples that they want to have more toward the top of the page. As far as I can tell, there's no way to do this right now without deleting and re-adding items.

I am sure I am not the only freelancer that would really like to/need to have the ability to list my portfolio under more than one freelance category. For instance I have extensive education and experience in design for both web and print. I am an online marketer as well as brick and mortar. Production art, photo retouching, etc.
